About Youssef Ehab
I grew up as a basketball athlete, but ironically, it was this background that eventually led me to try CrossFit. My goal was to enhance my overall fitness, so I decided to step into my first CrossFit class. Over time, I discovered a deep love for it — especially because it’s an individual sport. CrossFit challenged me in ways I hadn’t experienced before and pushed me to grow both physically and mentally. That’s when I realized it was time to step away from basketball and fully commit to CrossFit.

What got you into fitness
My journey into fitness started from my background in basketball. Growing up, I was always active and had a passion for sports, but over time, I realized that I wanted to push my limits even further. I was looking for something that could challenge me on a deeper level, not just in terms of physical strength, but also mentally. That’s when I discovered CrossFit. It was a sport that tested me in ways I had never experienced before, combining endurance, strength, and mental toughness. The individual aspect of it really drew me in, as it was all about pushing myself and measuring my own progress. From that moment, I was hooked, and it led me to leave basketball behind and fully commit to CrossFit.
What's Your Source of Inspiration
My biggest inspiration has always been my family, especially my younger sister, Jana. I wouldn’t be half the athlete or person I am today without them.
What's Your Go-To Cheat Meal
My go to cheat meal is always either pizza, steak, or fries.
